As digital literacy grows, the Computer Repairing trade provides youth with the skills to maintain and fix desktop and laptop systems. This course focuses on hardware components like motherboards, hard drives, and RAM, as well as software troubleshooting and operating system installation. Trainees also learn basic networking and printer maintenance. This trade is designed to help individuals set up small “Computer Labs” or repair shops in local markets, bridging the digital divide in rural districts.
The Southern Punjab Poverty Alleviation Project (SPPAP) is a transformative initiative aimed at reducing poverty in most economically challenged districts of Southern Punjab. Supported by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), the project is implemented through a financial agreement between the Government of Pakistan and IFAD. Oversight is provided by the Project Steering Committee (PSC), chaired and administered by the Punjab Planning & Development Board.
